The Shadow’s Shadow is the fifth volume in Greg Pak’s Darth Vader series. In this volume, Sabé, Padmé’s former handmaiden, learns about the truth of Vader’s identity. She then uses Padmé’s last words to ask for Vader’s help in bringing down a corrupt Imperial governor who’s in possession of a powerful and destructive weapon.
This volume is also full of tie-ins to the Star Wars prequels, which was done masterfully yet again. Overall, this one is a must-read for all Vader fans.
